First, please accept our sincere apologies for not updating this site over the past few months. We know all of you are davening, learning and doing extra mitzvois to aid in Alizah's imminent recovery. You all have a vested interest in Alizahs refuah and we are extremely grateful to all of you for your continued support.

Boruch Hashem! Alizah is making great progress. Although still in a deep coma state, she's very responsive to her mother's requests to move particular body parts i.e. her arms, legs, torso, neck and head. We believe this is due to the continued treatments Alizah has been receiving.

These treatments consist of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Feldenkrais, Physical and Occupational Therapies and most recently with the help of a brilliant new medical team we have been working with shock, nutraceutical, and pharmaceutical therapies.

Of course we know the true refuah comes from all of your tefilos, mitzvois and of course The Rebbes Brochas and the Aibishters continued help. May we all be zoicher to share only simchas with the refuah of all those in need and the coming of Moshiach Tzidkeinu NOW!!!

Please accept our apologies for not updating this sooner. We have been tied up searching for the proper treatments and facilities to further accelerate the imminently anticipated complete recovery of RUCHAMAH ALIZAH SARAH CHANAH BAS ESTHER LIBAH with the help of all of your tefilos, mitzvos and the Rebbes brochas and Aibishters help!

Currently Alizah is in a condition known as critically-stable, this means that her condition is stable but very sensitive.

Alizah is currently undergoing, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, Feldenkrais Method, physical and occupational therapies, reflexology and chiropractic treatments. Boruch Hashem Aliza is showing great response to all of these.

We have been looking into treatments available at Harvard, the Clevland Clinic and Johns Hopkins.

Tonight is The 10th day of the Jewish month of Shevat ("Yud Shevat" in Hebrew) is a most significant date on the Chassidic calendar. It is the yahrtzeit of the sixth Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn (1880-1950), of righteous memory. It is also the day when, in 1951, the seventh Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson (1902-1994), of righteous memory, formally accepted the leadership of Chabad-Lubavitch with a historic maamar (discourse) and address at a gathering marking the first anniversary of his predecessor's passing.

Gut Yom Tov! Today is the day of overcoming all obstacles and being victorious on all fronts! We will continue to see miracles before our eyes. With the complete and immediate Refuah Shilaimah for RUCHAMAH ALIZAH SARAH CHANAH BAS ESTHER LIBAH and all those in Klal Yisroel who need a refuah!

The Rebbe says that Hei Teves (DIDAN NATZACH) is an Ais Ratzon (Divine Auspicious Time) to make requests. In fact the year the courts handed down the decision, The Rebbe told everyone to write Pidyan Nefesh and the Nossi Doreinu will read them by the Ohel of the Freierdiker Rebbe.

(12/6/2007) - Chof-Hei Kislev 5768 - The First Day of Chanukah

A Lechtigen un fraylichen Chanukah! RUCHAMAH ALIZA SARAH CHANA BAS ESTHER LIBAH is Boruch Hashem home for 8 days now and the infection remains under control. She has been slightly more responsive and even partially opens her eyes! Even though she still remains in a coma on the ventilator, in critical but stable condition. There are Boruch Hashem improvements daily.

Last night RUCHAMAH ALIZA SARAH CHANA BAS ESTHER LIBAH was placed in to a specially designed chair to allow her to be with our family to light the Chanukah candles and be involved in all of the festivities!

We are confident that with all of your continued tefilos, mitzvhas, ahavas yisroel combined with The Nossi Dorienus (Leader of out generations) Brocha's and the Aibishter's help the Nes for our RUCHAMAH ALIZA SARAH CHANA BAS ESTHER LIBAH'S complete and immediate recovery is imminent!!!

Please continue and increase your efforts, this is a week of miracles for Klal Yisroel and the Aibishter is NOT a bal choyiv (doesn't maintain debts) and IY"H we will see RUCHAMAH ALIZA SARAH CHANA BAS ESTHER LIBAH be not 100% but 200% better than she was before the accident! Boruch Hashem, I am pleased to let you all know RUCHAMAH ALIZA SARAH CHANA BAS ESTHER LIBAH has returned home yesterday. Aliza continues to be in critical but stable condition.

She will continue to receive antibiotics via broviac for another month or so. We will IY"H begin various therapies and stimulation techniques at the beginning of next week.

Please keep up all of your tefilos and mitzvos and encourage all of your friends to participate. This is what's giving RUCHAMAH ALIZA SARAH CHANA BAS ESTHER LIBAH the strength to continue fighting an amazing battle, that we are confident will be victorious, DIDAN NATZACH is on the horizon, we need to increase our efforts to speed its arrival.

Boruch Hashem, RUCHAMAH ALIZAH SARAH CHANA BAS ESTHER LIBAH is continuing to progress on the road to recovery. She was scheduled to go home this past Monday after the culture of the fluid leak came back negative. Which means that with the Rebbes brochas, the Aibishters help and the amazing medical team attending to Aliza at Miami Children's Hospital the infections are under control, however for reasons unknown.

Alizah's hemoglobin dropped to an unsafe level on the day of her anticipated return home. So she received a blood transfusion and Boruch Hashem I'm pleased to say that RUCHAMAH ALIZAH SARAH CHANA BAS ESTHER LIBAH is doing well and we have now been told she will be heading home later on today IY"H (with G-D's help).

Please keep up all of your tefilos and mitzvos. This is what's giving RUCHAMAH ALIZAH SARAH CHANA BAS ESTHER LIBAH the strength to continue fighting an amazing battle, that we are confident will be victorious, DIDAN NATZACH is on the horizon, we need to increase our efforts to speed it's arrival. First I must apologize for the week long delay in updating Aliza's FaceBook group as well as this site.

Boruch Hashem I am please to say the surgury to put in a broviac which will allow Aliza to return home while still on the antibiotics. Thank to the Rebbes brochas, your tefilos and mitzvos and the Aibishter's help, Aliza is making tremendous progress. We hope working with the amazing medical team at Miami Children's Hospital that we will begin an attempt to ween Aliza off of the ventilator. With your continued tefilos and mitzvos, we are confident as ever that Aliza will continue on her road to recovery.

I will attempt to keep updating at least every other day! Thank you all for understanding.

Also, the family would like to specially thank Rebbitzen Chani Lipskar from the Shul of Bal Harbor and the local Hadassah for organizing a Mitzvah Challah program in the schus of the immediate and complete recovery of RUCHAMAH ALIZAH SARAH CHANAH BAS ESTHER LIBAH. 10:35am - Boruch Hashem (Blessed is the Lord) Aliza has come out of surgery successfully and is expected to go home on Wednesday or Thursday with the Rebbes Brochas and the Aibishters (G-D's) continued help!

Thank you all for the additional tefilos (prayers) this morning, it's absolutely the best and true medicine.

Miracles & Doctors - Firm confidence in G-d can perform miracles of healing. Nevertheless, you should still follow the instructions of the doctor. Not that it is the doctor or his medicine that heals - it is the Healer of All Flesh who heals.

But the doctor and the medicine provides a natural channel for the healing to occur, and this is the way G-d prefers His miracles to work - through natural means.

Boruch Hashem (Blessed is the Lord) the infection Aliza has been diagnosed with appears to be under control. Because the infection is so strong, at 8.30am this morning RUCHAMAH ALIZA SARAH CHANA BAS ESTHER LIBAH will undergo a surgical procedure to put a medi-port which will allow her to receive 3 different antibiotics intravenously. With the Rebbes brochas and the Aibishters (G-D's) help, the surgery will be successful and Aliza will be going home on either Wednesday or Thursday.

(10/22/2007) - Yud-Mar-Cheshvan 5768

Boruch Hashem (Blessed is the Lord) I am pleased to say that after the latest test the doctors feel that the infection is currently under control and on the path to healing. However, Aliza is still in critical condition. Aliza will still need to have surgery to drain the remaining fluid from her head which because of the state law in Florida we may be forced to do at a hospital in NY.

Aliza will have to further stabilize in order to facilitate airlifting her to a medical facility there. We are looking into several locations and options and we will continue to take the best opportunities available for Aliza's continued care.

The fact that the infections Aliza has been suffering from has come under control so quickly is directly related to the Aibishter (G-D's) help, the Rebbes brochas, the amazing medical attention we are receiving for all of the professionals at Miami Children's Hospital.

All of your tefilos, mitzvahs and ahavas chinam (unconditional love of your fellow man for no reason whatsoever) in order to continue on this road, all of these can't stop. In fact it would help if it was increased, so while we know and appreciate that you are all doing quite a bit to help in the fight for Aliza's complete and immediate recovery which we know is imminent. I ask those of you who can do more to please do so.

Please ask the schools you go to or those that your children attend to say some Tehillim or the 12 pesukim (if you need the booklets send me a message and I will be glad to send as many copies as needed) or go out and get someone who hasn't put on tefillin to do so or get a woman or girl over 3 to light shabBOSS candles for RUCHAMAH ALIZA SARAH CHANAH BAS ESTHER LIBAH. It will certainly help speed up the process.

Last night the medical team had to put a central line in Aliza as a result of the fact the her blood pressure began to rapidly drop and they needed a way to introduce a large amount of fluid and her veins are too small to accommodate that through an IV line. They also took some more test to ascertain if she has developed any other infections or complication due to her weakened state.

All I can I ask is that you all continue what you have been doing until now because it has proven to be the best medicine and those of you who increase their efforts, please do and recruit anyone else who may be able to take something positive on in the name of RUCHAMAH ALIZA SARAH CHANAH BAS ESTHER LIBAH.

Boruch Hashem (Blessed is the Lord) Aliza is stabilizing and currently undergoing extensive treatment for a staff infection which has manifested in three locations, her blood, tracheostomy and in Alizas brain. There are various theories how this was contracted, one thing for certain Aliza has probably had this during her stay at Jackson and it was simply overlooked. The incredible medical team at Miami Children's Hospital are treating Aliza with two different kinds of antibiotics administered via IV.

Aliza is still leaking infectious fluid from her head and they had to suspend feeding her currently because the infection has slowed down her system to such an extent that it became an additional burden on her to process and digest the nutrients. However, her chemical balances are regulating and Aliza, Boruch Hashem (Blessed is the Lord) is definitely on the course to recovering from this infection. As of now we are still unsure of how long the treatment will take and when she can return home. But, with the Brochas from The Rebbe, The Aibishters continued help, your Tefilos and Mitzvahs and the excellent care she is receiving at Miami Children's her stay shouldn't be a long one.

Boruch Hashem (Blessed is the Lord) the transport to Miami Childrens was successful. Thanks to the amazing help of Ellen Weiss at Chai Lifeline of Miami, who arranged for Alizas admittance to Miami Childrens Hospital. RUCHAMAH ALIZA SARAH CHANA BAS ESTHER LIBAH is leaking infectious fluid from an apses her in head as a result of what appears to be an infection in the brain. The doctors at Miami Childrens are giving Aliza exceptional care. Aliza is currently on 2 different antibiotics and we are awaiting the results of the various test they have taken to determine what type of infection she is suffering from. The fluid is draining from a naturally made external burr hole in the upper temple of the head. In addition Alizas internal chemistry was totally out of balance due to the infection. Which is Boruch Hashem balancing out, thanks to the great medical team at Miami Childrens.

We are aggressively trying to get 10,000 mitzvahs (good deeds) done in RUCHAMAH ALIZA SARAH CHANA BAS ESTHER LIBAHs name by erev ShabBOSS. So if you can please take on something small or large that you all feel you can do. Tzedaka (charity), an extra Kapitel Tehillim (an extra portion of Psalms), get a woman or girl over 3 who doesn't light shabBOSS candles to light up V'chulu (etc.)

Nidah/Taharas Ha'Mishpocha (family purity) 3. After spending 8 days at home in her own bed Aliza appears to have spinal fluid draining from her head. We have been told this could be from a cranial fracture. Yet another item overlooked by Jackson Memorial Hospital. Thanks to Chai Lifeline Aliza will be transported to Miami Childrens Hospital. For observation and and surgical procedures as necessary. Please, please continue the Tehillim and Mitzvos in RUCHAMAH ALIZA SARAH CHANA BAS ESTHER LIBAHs name. This is truley the best medicine for anyone in need of a Refuah (remedy). We have come this far and we are all confident WE WILL WIN AND RUCHAMAH ALIZA SARAH CHANA BAS ESTHER LIBAH WILL HAVE A COMPLETE AND IMMEDIATE RETURN TO PERFECT HEALTH!

I am overwhelmed to say that RUCHAMAH ALIZA SARAH CHANA BAS ESTHER LIBA has come home successfully on Tuesday, 10/2! The transport from the hospital went smooth and Aliza is happy to be at home.

She has shown this by increasing the movements of her head, neck, hands, legs and feet in a more exaggerated motion and showing more response when her family members are nest to her depending on the side she will only move on the side they are on. Aliza also continues to maintain her bodily functions i.e. tempurature, blood pressure, heart rate, etc. on her own. Also after an examination from her pediatrician the pupil of her left eye has began reducing in size when exposed to light, this is a breakthrough as it further indicates there is upper brain activity. However, Aliza is still in a critical state. The tefilos, tehillim, mitzvos and ahavas/achdus Yisroel need to continue and even increase the efforts. DIDAH NATZACH is clearly on the way!

We are in the home stretch of the holiday season, Simchas Torah literally around we all need to find the extra energy needed to bring about the amazing kiddush Hashem that is taking place before our eyes. Remember The Rebbe says"SIMCHH PORETZ GEDER" "WITH HAPPINESS AND JOY WE CAN BREAK DOWN ALL BARRIERS"!!!!

Our family would like to thank the media for their continued interest in Aliza and for all their help and support.

We have converted one of the rooms to a mini-hospital room with the equipment necessary to begin rehabilitating Aliza. Again, must continue the spiritual fight on high all of the teffilos, cheseds and ahvas yisroel has proven that it has brought Aliza this far and continuing and increasing these efforts will certainly continue to play the main role in Alizas "Lachat Chilla Ariabah Un Aribah" her "Over and Over the Top" complete and immediate recovery!

The hospital has put her on antibiotics after considerable insistence that Aliza was having some kind of viral/bacterial reaction to any one of the procedures that have been taking place. Boruch Hashem all of the swelling and other reactions appear to have subsided. We hope to be bringing her home this Tuesday Chof Tishrei, Ushpizin Yesod--"Foundation" and "Connection" - Joseph and The Rebbe Marharash ZY"A, This day should be truley "Lachatchilla Ariba un Ariba". It should be in an auspicious time.

We have converted one of the rooms to a mini-hospital room with the equipment necessary to begin rehabilitating Aliza. We must continue the spiritual fight on high all of the teffilos, cheseds and ahvas yisroel have brought Aliza this far and continuing and increasing these efforts will certainly continue to play the main role in Alizas successful return to good health!

Aliza needs to show continued signs of progress and stability for the hospital to release her to "Home Care". Ironic this is the same place that advocates "pulling the plug", but, won't allow her to leave without being "stable enough for home-care" Please keep up the Tehillim, midos tovos and above all ahavas and achdus yisroel.

RUCHAMAH ALIZA SARAH CHANA BAS ESTHER LIBA", continues to slightly move her toes, fingers and head! The Doctors continue to minimize these milestones, but, they have been wrong every step of the way for the past month! There is one Aibishter and through all the teflios, cheseds and hachlotas tovahs that klal Yisroel is doing, DIDAH NATZACH is in clear view! Although Aliza still remains in critical but stable condition, she is still on a respirator and continues to be off all medication to regulate her bodily functions i.e. tempurature, blood pressure, heart rate etc. Now that we are entering the "Days of Joy" portion of Tishrei I implore you all to keep up the fight through Tehillim, Tefilos, and good deeds and of course be B'Simcha. The Rebbe says "Simcha Poretz Geder" with Simcha (happiness/joy) we can break all barriers. WITH ACHDUS YISROEL WE HAVE AMAZING STRENGTH!

Even though we are planning on giving Aliza home-care we are still actively searching for a rehabilitation center, either in the New York Tri-State area or the Miami-Dade area because of family infrastructure at these locations. The reason for this is because we will need to bring in these specialists to work with Aliza to make sure she stay on the proper track to recovery.

First I apologize for not updating this sooner. I hope all of you had an easy fast and meaningful Yom Kippur and am sure all your teffilos were received and will be granted immediately! I had the incredable schus of spending this Yom Kippur with my niece. We davend together, it was incredible and indescribable on many levels.

Because of various pressures from the hospital we are forced to move Ruchama Aliza Sarah Chanah to another medical facilitiy. We are actively searching for a one of these either in south Florida, New York Tri-State area or Baltimore because of family infrastructure at these locations.
